Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Software Engineer role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend services, web applications, and APIs that support Whitelinke’s collaborative platform and AI-driven solutions.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

- Writing clean, scalable code
- Reviewing and refactoring existing code
- Participating in technical design discussions
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams such as product, design, and project management
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
- Ensuring system performance, reliability, and security
- Contributing to documentation and best practices
- Participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews
- Actively supporting ongoing innovation across client and internal projects
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming with one or more modern languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and integration with databases.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and their application in production systems.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
- Experience working in collaborative, agile environments, with clear communication and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
