Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain back-end services and APIs that power JurisOne’s AI-driven legal operating system. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Implementing scalable and secure features
- Writing clean and testable code
- Participating in code reviews
- Collaborating with product, data, and legal teams to refine requirements

The role also involves:
- Troubleshooting issues
- Optimizing system performance
- Contributing to architectural decisions that support reliability, auditability, and compliance
The successful candidate will work closely with a distributed team, using modern development practices and tools to deliver high-quality software.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming using modern languages and frameworks.
- Experience in Back-End Web Development, building and maintaining APIs and distributed services.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containers, or microservices is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working in remote, cross-functional teams and communicating clearly in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in legal technology, AI-driven products, or regulated industries is a plus.
