Software Engineer | AI × Cybersecurity | London, Hybrid
Build the product behind AI agents that find vulnerabilities before attackers do.
We’re recruiting for an early-stage cybersecurity startup building autonomous AI agents that discover and prove security vulnerabilities in real customer environments. With $4 million in pre-seed funding, paying enterprise customers and real revenue, the team is now growing—and looking for a Software Engineer who enjoys building exceptional products across the stack.
This is an opportunity to shape the product, architecture and engineering practices while working closely with customers and a small, experienced team.
What you’ll build
You’ll turn complex agent discoveries into clear, useful experiences that security teams rely on: investigating findings, reviewing evidence, managing assets, scheduling scans and reporting results.
Your ownership will span the full journey:
- Build intuitive interfaces with TypeScript, React and Next.js.
- Develop Python backend services, REST APIs and relational data models.
- Take features from customer conversations through design, implementation and production.
- Own testing, deployment, monitoring and improvements after launch.
- Use AI coding agents thoughtfully—and help improve the workflows, evaluations and guardrails around them.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Experience with B2B SaaS, data-heavy interfaces, cloud infrastructure, Docker or agentic AI would be a bonus. Cybersecurity experience is welcome, but curiosity about the domain and a willingness to learn matter too.
Why this opportunity?
- You’ll work on technically challenging problems with visible customer impact.
- You’ll have a meaningful voice in what gets built and how—and the chance to help shape an ambitious product while the team is still small.
