#.NET Developer (C#) | Leeds City Centre | Up to £45,000 | Hybrid – 2 Days in Office

We're working exclusively with a well-established business in the financial sector, based in the heart of Leeds, to find a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join their Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on genuinely impactful software solutions in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

The Opportunity

You'll be joining a close-knit engineering team building automation and process-driven solutions that make a real difference to business customers. From rich web-based applications to API development and cloud services, the work is varied, technically interesting, and built on modern practices.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Collaborating with the team to analyse requirements and design effective, scalable solutions
  • Writing clean, efficient, and robust C# .NET code to a consistently high standard
  • Building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party web services
  • Contributing to accurate estimations and ensuring on-time, quality deliveries
  • Writing unit tests and maintaining strong code coverage
  • Investigating and resolving application issues as they arise

What We're Looking For

  • A proven, hands-on background in C#.NET /.NET Core development
  • Solid SQL skills for building performant database structures and queries
  • Strong understanding of design principles and patterns for scalable applications
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments
  • Good analytical thinking and a genuine passion for problem solving

Advantageous Skills (not essential — a willingness to learn matters just as much)

  • Experience with Angular 6+
  • Cloud development experience, particularly Microsoft Azure
  • Knowledge of DevOps tooling (Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy)
  • Familiarity with Docker, RabbitMQ, and micro-services/containerisation

The Package

  • Up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Hybrid working – just 2 days per week in Leeds city centre
