Global HFT Firm - Python Full Stack Engineer - London

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end applications for Wintermute’s new trading products, client-facing portals, and internal trading platforms.
  • Own features across the full technology stack, from backend services and APIs through to frontend development.
  • Design and build scalable backend services and APIs to support trading and market data.
  • Model, integrate, and expose trading and market data for internal and external users.
  • Build intuitive, high-quality frontend experiences across a range of customer and user journeys.
  • Help shape and drive the technical vision for new platforms and portals from the ground up.
  • Take ownership of the user experience across multiple stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Oversee and support corporate website frontend development, including project management and delivery.
  • Work closely with Product, Trading, Engineering, and other teams across Wintermute to deliver new products and improve existing platforms.
  • Take ownership of projects from initial design through to implementation and delivery

Requirements

  • 4 years + Professionals experience in Python.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with React
  • Work experience in a trading firm or finance would be an advantage
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related field.
