Golang Engineer

Are you passionate about building scalable backend systems, solving complex integration challenges, and developing high-performance services that power seamless digital experiences across global markets?

We are seeking a talented Go Software Engineer to help enhance and scale a mission-critical integration platform that connects business partners with a leading digital ecosystem. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-throughput backend services while contributing to the reliability, performance, and evolution of a modern microservices architecture.

Working within a collaborative engineering environment, you will play a key role in delivering scalable integrations, improving system health, and supporting the successful rollout of technology solutions across multiple international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and features using Go.
  • Build and optimize high-performance microservices that support large-scale, transaction-heavy environments.
  • Work effectively within a continuous delivery framework, actively participating in planning, refinement, and delivery activities.
  • Monitor and improve system reliability by proactively identifying, investigating, and resolving production issues.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and help implement scalable, resilient architectural solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Delivery, and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of integrations.
  • Continuously improve code quality, development practices, and platform performance through innovation and best-practice engineering approaches.
  • Support operational excellence by taking ownership of services throughout their full lifecycle, from development to production support.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience developing backend applications and services using Go.
  • Solid understanding of software engineering principles, including writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Experience working with microservices architectures and event-driven systems.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems concepts, including scalability, resilience, and eventual consistency.
  • A proactive problem-solving mindset with a passion for identifying improvements and driving technical excellence.
  • Strong interest in system reliability, monitoring, observability, and production support.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with quality-focused development practices, including automated testing and collaborative engineering approaches.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered development tools and coding assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native technologies and services within modern cloud environments.
  • Experience working with message queues, event-streaming platforms, and data storage solutions in distributed environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within international or globally distributed organizations.
  • Exposure to high-volume transactional systems, marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or large-scale integration environments.
  • Familiarity with event-streaming technologies and real-time data processing platforms.
  • Experience contributing to complex integration ecosystems and partner-facing technology solutions.
