Senior C# / Azure Engineer – £600/day Outside IR35
Contract: Initial contract
Rate: Up to £600 per day
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: UK – Hybrid
Office: 1–2 days per week
Start: ASAP / immediately available strongly preferred
We are currently recruiting for a Senior C# / Azure Engineer to join an established engineering team of approximately 40 people.
The Role
This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong experience building cloud-based, distributed and event-driven systems using C#, Azure and modern integration technologies.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing high-quality software using C#/.NET
- Building and integrating REST APIs and services
- Working with Azure cloud services
- Developing event-driven solutions using Kafka
- Working with distributed systems and scalable architectures
- Integrating multiple systems and services
- Contributing to technical design and architectural decisions
- Working collaboratively with engineers and technical stakeholders

Key Skills
- Strong commercial experience with C# /.NET
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience
- Apache Kafka / event streaming
- REST APIs and service integration
- Event-driven architecture
- Distributed systems
- Scalable backend services
- Angular / frontend experience is a nice-to-have
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience in C#/.NET and Azure, combined with a solid understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures.

Angular experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
Additional Details
- £600/day Outside IR35
- The role operates on a hybrid basis, with 1–2 days per week required in the office.
- Immediate availability or a very short notice period is strongly preferred.
