Senior C# / Azure Engineer – £600/day Outside IR35

Contract: Initial contract

Rate: Up to £600 per day

IR35: Outside IR35

Location: UK – Hybrid

Office: 1–2 days per week

Start: ASAP / immediately available strongly preferred


We are currently recruiting for a Senior C# / Azure Engineer to join an established engineering team of approximately 40 people.


The Role

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong experience building cloud-based, distributed and event-driven systems using C#, Azure and modern integration technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing high-quality software using C#/.NET
  • Building and integrating REST APIs and services
  • Working with Azure cloud services
  • Developing event-driven solutions using Kafka
  • Working with distributed systems and scalable architectures
  • Integrating multiple systems and services
  • Contributing to technical design and architectural decisions
  • Working collaboratively with engineers and technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have strong commercial experience in C#/.NET and Azure, combined with a solid understanding of distributed and event-driven architectures.

Angular experience would be beneficial but is not essential.


Additional Details

  • £600/day Outside IR35
  • The role operates on a hybrid basis, with 1–2 days per week required in the office.
  • Immediate availability or a very short notice period is strongly preferred.
