Are you an experienced PLC Programmer? Do you have experience with automated manufacturing systems, robotics, and PLC controlled machinery? If so, this PLC Programmer position is perfect for you!
Job Title: PLC Programmer
Location: Portsmouth
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with an early Friday finish
Salary: Up to £40,600 depending on experience
Responsibilities:
- Supporting and maintaining automated manufacturing systems within a production environment
- Ensuring robotic equipment, PLC controlled machinery, and software driven processes operate efficiently with minimal downtime
- Fault finding, troubleshooting, and maintaining automation software, vision inspection systems, and production equipment
- Assisting with the integration and optimisation of robotic manufacturing technologies
- Working closely with engineering and production teams
- Prioritising and resolving technical issues through an internal support system to maintain production output and performance

Requirements:
- Previous experience with PLC Programming
- Strong working knowledge of electronics
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Mitsubishi PLCs is advantageous
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and communication
