Contract Senior Go Platform Engineer
We're recruiting for a senior Go engineer to join a growing platform team on a 6 month contract, building a brand new single tenant, cloud agnostic platform from the ground up.
This is a genuinely hands on role. You won't be sat in meetings talking about architecture, you'll be writing the Go, shipping the Kubernetes and owning the operational side too.

- Rate: £400 to £450 per day
- Contract Type: Outside IR35
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Remote, UK based

What you'll be doing
- Building and maintaining Go services, CLIs and workers
- Implementing Kubernetes deployment patterns
- Writing and maintaining Helm charts
- Supporting Terraform and infrastructure work where needed
- Building health checks, smoke tests and operational diagnostics
- Working closely with QA to build out test automation
- Writing clear, usable runbooks
- Collaborating with the wider engineering team on platform reliability

What they are looking for
- You'll have strong commercial Go experience and be comfortable owning services end to end, from writing the code through to how it runs in production. Experience with cloud agnostic or multi cloud setups is a big plus, as is a genuine interest in the operational side of platform engineering rather than just the build.
