🚀 Software Engineer | Cardiff / Hybrid (2 Days Onsite)
We're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our client's team in Cardiff. You'll be building and maintaining scalable applications across the full stack, contributing to technical decisions, and working in a collaborative agile environment.
🛠 The Role
You'll be working across backend, database, and frontend — designing APIs, writing clean SQL, and shipping JavaScript-powered features, all backed by cloud infrastructure.
Day to day, you'll be:
- Building and maintaining backend services with C# / .NET Core
- Writing efficient SQL and working with relational databases
- Contributing to frontend work using JavaScript (any framework welcome)
- Deploying and monitoring applications on cloud platforms
- Collaborating in an agile squad — standups, sprint planning, code reviews
- Shaping technical decisions and contributing to architecture discussions

💻 Tech Stack
Must-have:
- C# /.NET Core
- SQL
- JavaScript (framework flexible — React, Angular, Vue, all fine)
- Cloud experience — Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered
Nice to have:
- CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes
- Microservices or event-driven architecture experience
- Azure certifications

- Solid hands-on C# /.NET Core experience
- Strong SQL skills — queries, schema design, optimization
- Practical JavaScript knowledge
- Cloud platform familiarity (Azure ideal)
