About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. To be successful in this role, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in full-stack development with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java is essential. Familiarity with modern frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js for frontend development, and Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot for backend services is required. Strong understanding of RESTful API design, database management (SQL and NoSQL), and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are also important. Prior experience in startup or tech-driven environments will be considered an advantage.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable web applications and backend systems that support our platform’s core functionalities. Key responsibilities include:
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conducting code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Participating in designing system architecture and improving existing features to enhance performance and security
- Collaborating with product teams to define technical solutions
- Troubleshooting issues and implementing best practices for software development
- Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve our development processes and technical stack
