Software Engineer
We’re working with a global financial leader looking for experienced Golang Engineers to join a cutting-edge Platform Engineering and AI programme.
You’ll work within a high-calibre engineering team building secure, scalable cloud platforms, Internal Developer Platforms and agentic AI tooling. The role sits at the intersection of core engineering and emerging AI, with opportunities to shape how GenAI and LLMs are safely deployed within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build scalable platform services using Go and Kubernetes
- Develop and improve Internal Developer Platforms
- Work across cloud-native architecture, SRE, DevOps and CI/CD
- Build secure frameworks and tooling supporting GenAI and LLM adoption
- Contribute to technical architecture and engineering best practices
- Help drive developer experience and platform scalability

Essential Experience:
- Strong commercial Go/Golang experience
- Deep Kubernetes knowledge
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture
- Experience across SRE, DevOps, CI/CD, security and scalability
- Broad software engineering and infrastructure knowledge
- Genuine interest in Generative AI and Agentic AI

Nice to Have:
- Platform Engineering experience
- Kotlin, Java or Python
- Financial services / large-scale enterprise experience
- Open-source or internal framework development
