Software Engineer (Backend leaning) – Mid-level – Tech for Good
💰 Up to £50,000
🏡 Remote – quarterly visits to the office in London
💻 React.js, Python & AWS – they are flexible with other backend experience if you haven’t had experience with Python
We’re partnered with a Tech for Good who are now looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to join their growing tech team as they continue to build products that are making a real difference.
If you enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working across the full stack and contributing to software that has a meaningful social impact, then this is a great match for you! What will you be doing:
- Developing and maintaining full-stack applications using modern web technologies
- Build new features, resolve bugs and improve existing functionality
- Work across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure and CI/CD
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and technical leadership
- Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making

What are they looking for:
- Commercial experience developing full-stack applications
- Backend experience in Python or other backend languages - they are flexible if you haven’t had commercial experience with Python
- Exposure to AWS cloud services and serverless architectures
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines
