AWS Application Developer (python) - Contract - Inside IR35

A leading asset manager is seeking an accomplished AWS Application Developer to help build out their AWS platform for modern application delivery.

This is a hands-on engineering role for someone with strong AWS application development and platform engineering experience. You will build and enhance platform capabilities, developer workflows, control plane services, and automation that improve software delivery and platform adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance platform capabilities
  • Improve developer workflows
  • Develop control plane services
  • Implement automation for software delivery and platform adoption

Requirements

  • Strong AWS application development and platform engineering experience
  • Ideal experience supporting developer tooling, software delivery platforms, or cloud-native developer workflows
  • Hands-on software engineering capability in Python/FastAPI and TypeScript/React
  • Experience building production APIs, web front ends, services, and tools used by engineering teams
