Summary

We're working with an exciting London-based AI startup building technology to solve one of the biggest operational challenges in healthcare. Founded 2 years ago, they've already raised around £20m, reached an ~£80m valuation, and deployed their technology across many hospitals. The engineering team includes people from Palantir, Google, and Apple.

They're now looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join the team and own the end-to-end delivery of AI-powered workflows used in real healthcare environments. They're looking for a strong product-minded engineer who enjoys working across the stack, solving ambiguous problems, and shipping software quickly. The current stack includes Python/FastAPI, TypeScript, React, and Postgres.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About the Role

This is an autonomous engineering role where you'll work across the full product lifecycle; understanding problems directly from customers, designing solutions, and shipping them into production. You'll work closely with healthcare teams to understand how they operate, translate non-technical requirements into software, and feed what you learn back into the core product.

The environment is fast-moving and deliberately flat, with engineers expected to take ownership beyond their immediate responsibilities and work closely with both the product team and founders. This is particularly well suited to someone who enjoys the combination of product engineering, AI, and direct customer interaction rather than working several layers removed from the end user.
