About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Healthcare Software Developer to join our dynamic team at X-On Health. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining innovative healthcare applications that enhance patient engagement and facilitate seamless healthcare workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for leveraging technology to improve healthcare services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, healthcare professionals, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients and end-users.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in software development, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with web development frameworks and technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React or Angular.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards and protocols such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM.
- Knowledge of database management systems like SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement healthcare software solutions that meet client requirements.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development processes.
- Assist in the documentation of technical specifications, user manuals, and training materials.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope and budget.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users as needed.
