Salary: Highly competitive, above market rate – the organisation is in a rapid period of growth and looking for multiple Software Engineers – salaries can range from £60,000 Base to £150,000 Base and potentially beyond
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne — office-based -with some travel in the UK
If you either live in the Newcastle area or are prepared to relocate there, this is a tremendous opportunity to work on some incredibly exciting projects whilst earning markedly above a standard Newcastle salary.

Overview:
My client, a fast-growing technology joint venture between a global management consulting leader and a global alternative investment fund manager, is looking to hire multiple talented Software Developers to join their technology team, delivering bespoke solutions across banking, financial services, private capital and defence.
Responsibilities:
- Engage directly with users, stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify requirements and design pragmatic, effective solutions.
- Take on early responsibility for high-quality end-to-end software delivery.
- Partner closely with client teams and challenge current systems and processes to drive technical excellence and innovation.

Desired Skills:
- Excellent programming skills, with extensive experience in Java, C#/.NET, Rust or Python.
- An outstanding academic track record.
- Experience in Investment Banking/Capital Markets/Fintech/Investment Management/Financial Services.
- An entrepreneurial nature, willing to take ownership and run towards problems.
- Ability to own all aspects of development projects from start to finish.
- Desire to build domain knowledge and increase market understanding.
- Strong communication skills, comfortable working with both clients and team members.
