About our Line of Business – Cloud & Data Centre Solutions
ST Engineering Cloud and Data Centre Solutions Pte Ltd provides all aspects of cloud management, services, and solutions, from initial setup and migration to ongoing operations and optimization. Services include engineering works to design, build, and provide facility management service for mission-critical environments such as data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity sites.

The Software Engineer supports the development, enhancement, deployment, and maintenance of software applications and systems. This individual is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing robust software solutions that meet business and customer requirements.

The role requires a proactive team player who can collaborate effectively with project stakeholders, troubleshoot technical issues, and continuously improve system performance. The Software Engineer is also expected to uphold software quality standards, contribute to system integration activities, and support the successful delivery of projects in accordance with project plans and timelines.

- Software Development & Enhancement
- Support new software enhancements and system configurations
- Develop well-designed, testable, and efficient code that meets Software Quality Assurance standards
- Produce technical specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Integrate software components into fully functional software systems
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Testing & Deployment
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and External System Integration Testing
- Deploy software applications and evaluate user feedback
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- System Support & Continuous Improvement
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Support system maintenance, issue resolution, and performance improvements
- Ensure compliance with project plans, schedules, and quality requirements
- Participate in technical discussions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Qualities We Value
- Technical Competencies
- Proficient in software development using C#, Java/J2EE, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Golang
- Familiar with software engineering tools, automation, and scripting practices
- Experience developing web applications using frameworks or libraries such as ASP.NET, JSF, Spring MVC, or React
- Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems
- Ability to document technical requirements and specifications effectively
