Founding Engineer / AI Product Engineer / London
An early-stage AI company with serious ambition is looking for a founding engineer to help shape the product, engineering culture and technical direction from the ground up.
This isn’t a role where you’ll be handed a roadmap. You’ll help decide what the product becomes.
What you'll own:
- AI-powered features from idea → production → iteration
- Full-stack development across React, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL
- Architecture, engineering practices and technical direction
- Direct collaboration with customers and domain experts

- 4+ years of professional engineering experience
- Evidence of a strong track record of shipping production software
- Strong fundamentals across the stack
- Production experience with LLMs, agents, retrieval or similar AI systems
- Strong product instincts and the ability to turn ambiguity into working software
