What You Would Do
- Developing backend services and APIs using.NET, ASP.NET, Java or Spring Boot frameworks
- Building and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes
- Contributing to the design and implementation of microservices and distributed systems
- Writing clean, maintainable code with a focus on quality and testing
- Collaborating with team members on code reviews, architecture discussions and technical problem-solving
- Supporting CI/CD pipeline implementation and infrastructure-as-code practices using Terraform or similar tools
- Working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP to deploy and scale applications
- Participating in agile ceremonies and contributing to continuous improvement

What You Could Bring
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong experience with at least one backend technology stack (such as .NET, Java, Spring Boot or Python)
- Experience building or consuming APIs and microservices
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Working knowledge of SQL databases and distributed systems concepts
- Experience with version control systems and CI/CD practices
- Ability to write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews
- Authorization to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- AWS Certified Developer – Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate
- Professional Scrum Developer (PSD I) certification
- Experience with Terraform, infrastructure-as-code or configuration management
- Exposure to data pipelines, data quality frameworks or analytics platforms
- Familiarity with Linux and bash scripting
- Experience with monitoring, logging or observability tools
