About The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to register your interest in Software Engineer roles within our growing technology team. Typical Role Overview
- Location: Manchester, Birmingham, Leeds, or nationwide UK opportunities
- Type: Contract
- Full-time
- Day Rate: £600–800 per day (or £250–280 per day, dependent on experience and contract terms)
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Domain: Software development and engineering across STEM sectors
What You Would Do
- Developing and maintaining applications using technologies such as.NET, ASP.NET, Java, and Spring Boot
- Building and consuming APIs and microservices architectures
- Working with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Contributing to CI/CD pipeline improvements and deployment automation using Docker and Kubernetes
- Writing and optimizing SQL queries and managing data pipelines
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions
- Supporting code quality, testing, and documentation standards
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in production and development environments

What You Could Bring
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Proficiency in at least one of:.NET, ASP.NET, Java, Spring Boot, or Python
- Experience with relational databases and SQL
- Understanding of API design and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with version control and collaborative development practices
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
Nice-to-have
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Familiarity with Linux or Windows environments
- Experience with data pipelines or data quality
- Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, or Professional Scrum Developer (PSD I)
- Experience with business process modeling (BPMN) or UML
- Knowledge of SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, RISE)
