📍 London (Hybrid) 💰 £70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits

We're partnering with a global financial technology business that is expanding its engineering team in London.

This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, real-time systems and financial markets, working closely with specialists responsible for market connectivity and liquidity management. The company has an established international engineering function and is building additional technical capability in London. You'll work alongside experienced engineers in a highly collaborative environment where technical excellence, ownership, and continuous learning are valued.

The Role

You'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between a proprietary real-time platform and external market participants. The work involves building scalable services, improving existing connectivity solutions, and contributing to the evolution of a mature engineering platform used within performance-sensitive environments.

  • 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience
  • Strong experience with C# and.NET
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design principles
  • Experience building APIs and integrations
  • Experience working with distributed or event-driven systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle
