The Role
Design and implement microservices, considering scalability and performance as part of the development process.
- Write automated unit and integration tests alongside the application code to support reliable releases.
- Work with other engineering teams to make sure new features fit coherently into the wider platform.
- Manage and debug deployments from testing environments through to production.
- Turn customer requirements into trackable tickets and contribute to project scoping and deliverable definition.

What We're Looking For
- Experience developing software in either Python or Go; you do not need both.
- Experience making automated testing an integral part of the development cycle.
- An interest in client-facing projects, including understanding requirements and defining what will be delivered.
Useful Additional Experience
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, SQL or NoSQL databases, networking and client/server or microservice architectures would be useful.
- Experience with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Mesos, or knowledge of banking and finance, is also welcome rather than essential.
