Job Title: Software Engineer

Location: Luton - Hybrid

Contract: 12 Months

Day Rate: £515-£540 per day (Inside IR35)

What You'll Do

  • Develop robust, high-quality applications using C#.NET within a Windows environment.
  • Contribute across the full software lifecycle, from requirements analysis through to integration, testing and delivery.
  • Apply object-oriented design principles and software engineering best practice.
  • Develop, maintain and enhance web-based applications and services.
  • Support verification and validation activities to ensure software quality and compliance.
  • Work within Agile development teams while taking ownership of individual technical deliverables.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
  • Support system integration, troubleshooting and deployment activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#.NET.
  • Experience building web-based applications, APIs or backend services.
  • Good understanding of object-oriented design and software development methodologies.
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Exposure to automated testing frameworks and testing practices.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) environments.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience working with microservices architectures.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
