We are seeking a Software Engineer – Agentic AI to lead the design and delivery of agent-based, AI-enabled workflows integrated with core enterprise systems. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and cutting-edge AI infrastructure—translating complex financial use cases into reliable, scalable, and auditable production systems.

- Backend & Agent Orchestration: Build Python-based backend services, asynchronous workflows, and complex agent architectures using supervisor and sub-agent patterns.
- Retrieval & Data Pipelines: Design RAG pipelines, semantic search, vector indexing, and object storage integrations for grounding and context enrichment.
- Eval-Driven Development: Build evaluation harnesses, guardrails, and validation frameworks to measure correctness, minimise hallucinations, and ensure response accuracy.
- UX & Enterprise Integration: Securely integrate AI services via APIs or gateways and support React-based front-end integration patterns.
- Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and operate cloud-native services on AWS with strict adherence to IAM, observability (tracing and logging), CI/CD, and cost management.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner directly with business leads to scope opportunities, manage technical trade-offs, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Key Requirements
- Preferably 10+ years of total software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python.
- Proven Production Experience: Hands-on experience shipping LLM-powered applications, multi-stage agent workflows, and vector search in live environments.
- Agent Frameworks & Retrieval: Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or Model Context Protocol (MCP), alongside vector databases.
- Production Mindset: Strong understanding of system design, distributed systems, REST APIs, and test-driven or eval-driven development.
- Cloud & Security: Solid exposure to AWS, containerised deployments, CI/CD, and enterprise security including IAM, encryption, and audit trails.
- Enterprise Communication: Ability to articulate technical trade-offs regarding quality, cost, latency, and risk directly to business stakeholders.

Preferred Experience
- Background in financial services, asset management, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
- Experience with Next.js or React front-end integration.
- Deep expertise in LLMOps, model observability, and FinOps spend management.
