Location: Remote (UK-based)
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000+ (DOE)
Team: Small, high-impact Engineering Team
Hours: 40 hours/week
Working Parameters
- Right to Work: You must possess the legal right to work in the UK. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
- Availability: To ensure team collaboration, you should be available for core overlapping hours between 9:30 AM and 4:30 PM UK time.
- Location: While this is a fully remote role, you must be based in the UK for tax and payroll purposes.
The Opportunity
At MYT Shutters, we build the proprietary software that powers a global manufacturing operation. From our offices in the UK, NL, and Australia to our factory in China, our systems manage the entire product lifecycle, handling everything from global sales and manufacturing orchestration to international logistics.
We are looking for an engineer to join our team and contribute to our custom-built ERP, which serves as the core operating system for our global business.

Feature Scope: What You’ll Build
You will contribute to a variety of features across our platform, including but not limited to:
- Custom Visualisation Rendering: Developing the engine that generates dynamic 2D and 3D shutter visualizations based on unique customer configurations.
- Manufacturing Orchestration: Building the logic that translates complex orders into factory-ready production data.
- Global Logistics: Solving the challenges of tracking and moving products across international borders.
- ERP Evolution: Enhancing the tools our global teams use to manage customers and workflows, with future integrations planned for platforms like Odoo.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Delivery: Take ownership of features from refinement to delivery, writing clean code across the frontend, backend GraphQL resolvers, and database layers.
- Collaborative Engineering: Work in a Kanban environment, participating in peer code reviews and upholding SOLID principles.
- Reliable Testing: Contribute to a robust codebase supported by a comprehensive suite of Unit, Backend Integration, and E2E tests.

Requirements
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience with a strong foundation in Angular and TypeScript.
- Reactive Proficiency: Strong experience with RxJS and reactive design patterns.
- Backend Skills: Proficiency in writing Node.js and managing data flows through GraphQL and SQL.
- Engineering Mindset: A focus on clean architecture and a commitment to delivery that includes testability and maintainability.
- Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for solving unique, non-repetitive problems and enjoy building custom features that go beyond standard CRUD operations.
Bonus Points
- Experience with Nx, Apollo Server, or Liquibase.
- Familiarity with AWS (S3, RDS, ECS/Fargate).
- Exposure to ERP/MRP systems, manufacturing, or logistics contexts.

The Hiring Process
