About this role

Are you passionate about building software solutions and platforms from the ground up? Would you like to help drive the digital transformations in the private equity industry?

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and build one of the most important new products from the ground up, which is at the center of our technology initiatives.

The Software Engineering team serves to drive our technology development and deliver cutting edge and innovative solutions to both our clients and business teams. Improving the client experience as well as the business processes and efficiencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the complete Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, support).
  • Develop software that is modular, reusable, and extensible.
  • Write code that is easy to understand and maintain.
  • Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
  • Perform unit tests and develop automated tests.
  • Build RESTful APIs.
  • Conduct timely code reviews.

Key requirement for this role:

  • We expect you to have a solid foundation in data structures, programming languages, common design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, or related degree.
  • Development experience in.Net,.Net Core, ASP.Net Core and C#
  • Knowledge and experience using important.NET and C# language features such as encapsulation, inheritance, interfaces, polymorphism, generics, exception handling, reflection, attributes, LINQ, and asynchronous programming, etc.
  • Experience in using Entity Framework for data persistence
  • Experience developing software with structured logging, preferably using a mature logging framework
  • Knowledge and experience in SQL query language, SQL database schema design and developing software that access SQL databases
  • Knowledge and experience in the HTTP protocol, REST API, authentication and authorization standards and methods
  • Experience using API testing utilities such as Postman or cURL
  • Knowledge and experience in Azure or AWS is a plus
  • Experience using design patterns to achieve good architecture in development work
  • Experience in troubleshooting and debugging issues and unblock development work by thinking out of the box and resolving problems independently
  • Experience creating unit test programs to validate software component functionalities
  • Experience using modern source code management systems such as Git in software development and collaboration with other developers
  • Experience working with continuous integration and development (CI/CD) systems
  • Ability to automate solutions to repetitive problems and tasks
  • Demonstrative written and verbal communication skills working with audiences with a wide variety of technical expertise
  • Passion for learning and using new technologies
