Role Overview

Are you a senior software engineer who enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and building the platforms that power intelligent products at scale?

We're working with an established technology organisation that is investing heavily in AI-enabled products and capabilities. As part of a highly collaborative engineering team, you'll play a key role in designing and building the backend services, APIs, orchestration layers and cloud-native platforms that enable advanced AI and machine learning solutions across the business.

This is a software engineering role first and foremost. Rather than building machine learning models, you'll focus on the systems around them, creating secure, scalable and reliable backend services that turn cutting-edge AI capabilities into production-grade solutions. You'll collaborate closely with platform engineers, frontend developers, product teams and AI specialists to deliver features that handle complex data, automate workflows and support critical business decisions.

Operating within a "you build it, you own it" engineering culture, you'll take ownership from design and development through to deployment, monitoring and ongoing operational support. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, influencing architecture decisions and working on systems that are central to the future direction of a growing technology platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
