About The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled Software Developer specializing in C# and.NET to join a dynamic, collaborative technology team based in London. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the PR industry, contributing to the development and maintenance of internal business applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will be a proactive doer, comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of their tasks. You will be involved in designing, developing, and optimizing backend systems, ensuring seamless integration with various platforms and services. Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in software development with the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in C# and.NET development, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience working with SQL databases and writing efficient queries.
  • Experience with API integration and development, ensuring secure and scalable communication between systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including deployment and management of cloud-based applications.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and frontend technologies is advantageous, providing flexibility in full-stack development.
  • Experience working with business applications like SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or similar platforms.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI is desirable, adding value to the team's capabilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a practical, hands-on approach to tackling technical challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in a small, agile team, demonstrating ownership and accountability for deliverables.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs using C# and.NET technologies.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimizing existing applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integrating third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
  • Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting for internal business applications.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver tailored solutions.
