C# .NET Developer – SC Cleared
Location: Luton – Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)
Contract: 12 months
IR35: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: Full UK SC Clearance required

The Role
We are looking for experienced C#.NET Developers who can work with minimal supervision to support current and future programmes. Working within the Integrated Mission Solutions sector of the Electronic Warfare business, you’ll have the opportunity to work on the development of advanced defence technology within an established and mature software development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust software applications using C# and.NET within a Windows environment.
- Take ownership of complex development tasks across the full software lifecycle, from requirements through to integration, testing and delivery.
- Apply strong object-oriented design principles and software verification and validation techniques.
- Contribute effectively within a highly skilled engineering team while working independently when required.
- Support the delivery of high-quality, maintainable software across current and future programmes.

Essential Experience
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using C# and.NET, including web-based applications.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design and modern software development methodologies.
- Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks and practices.
- Understanding and practical experience of CI/CD practices.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership and deliver high-quality solutions with minimal supervision.
- Experience working within Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience with microservices architecture.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience within Defence or Electronic Warfare environments.
- Experience with WPF, WinForms and Visual Studio.
- Experience with DOORS, Cameo and Azure DevOps.
- Some experience with C++.
