Software Engineer / Developer (C++ Swift MacOS) Cambridge/ WFH to £80k

Are you a C++ Software Engineer with Swift and MacOS experience?

You could be progressing your career as a Software Engineer at one of the world's leading cyber security technology companies, where you'll help develop next generation software that protects organisations from increasingly sophisticated AI driven cyber threats.

As a Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain the macOS codebase using modern C++ and Swift. Collaborating within an R&D environment you'll lead projects across rapid prototyping of new ideas to the structured development of existing platforms.

You'll participate in code reviews, ensure engineering excellence and knowledge sharing and foster innovation and creativity. The role offers plenty of scope for technical ownership, innovation and continuous learning within a fast paced R&D environment.

Location / WFH:

  • You'll join a highly talented, diverse team in the Cambridge office twice a week where you can enjoy a great team atmosphere with free lunches and problem solving sessions.

About you:

  • You have strong C++ development skills combined with Swift and macOS experience
  • You're comfortable working autonomously and making technical decisions, while collaborating effectively within a team
  • You're knowledgeable or interested in cyber security and malware forensics
  • You have advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices
  • You're collaborative with great communication skills
