Role: ServiceNow (SPM) Architect

Location: London, UK (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of ServiceNow SPM solutions.
  • Define scalable and sustainable SPM architecture aligned with enterprise strategy and business objectives.
  • Design solutions covering Portfolio Management, Demand Management, Project Management, Resource Management, and Agile execution.
  • Translate business requirements and strategic objectives into effective ServiceNow SPM solutions.
  • Establish and enforce ServiceNow architecture, platform governance, design standards, and best practices.
  • Provide strategic guidance on SPM roadmap, platform expansion, and enterprise adoption.
  • Work closely with senior executives, business leaders, Product Owners, architects, and technology teams.
  • Lead architecture workshops, requirements discussions, solution design, and technical decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and digital transformation.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.
  • Support the rollout and adoption of SPM across multiple business units.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development and implementation teams.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience as a ServiceNow SPM Architect / Solution Architect / Technical Architect.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
  • Deep knowledge of:
    • Portfolio Management
    • Demand Management
    • Project Management
    • Resource Management
    • Agile Development / Execution
    • Enterprise Architecture & Governance
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, integrations, configuration, and customisation.
  • Experience leading strategic transformation programmes with senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Strong consulting, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business strategies into practical and scalable technology solutions.

Preferred Background

  • Experience with Big Four consulting firms – Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG is highly preferred.
  • Strong Finance / Financial Management background is advantageous.
  • Experience delivering ServiceNow SPM implementations within large global enterprises.
  • Experience with enterprise-wide ServiceNow rollouts and platform transformation.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator, CIS, or CTA are desirable.
