Software Engineer / Developer - Azure /.Net / API's / GenAI
Location: Sutton
Work Arrangement: 2 days office based, 3 days working remotely
Rate: £600-625 per day, outside IR35
Contract Duration: 6 month+ contract
About the Role
A global organisation are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in.Net and Azure development to develop and integrate systems in modern technology, moving away from legacy software.
Responsibilities
In this role you will:
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand functional requirements
- Design, estimate, develop, test & release features
- Work collaboratively with team members on feature delivery (design, code reviews, testing)

Required Experience
- Strong, proven experience with Azure, cloud-native approaches, and modern technology stacks
- Expertise in.NET technologies, including C#
- Full-stack development experience (from UI through to database)
- Strong application of modern engineering principles and technologies, including:
- Generative AI, including Specification Driven Development (SDD)
- API's and REST services
- Continuous engineering practices
- Database engines and technologies (SQL MI, Azure SQL etc.)
- Data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Data Flow, Databricks / Spark (using Python & associated frameworks) and Azure storage (data lake, blob)

Additional Requirements
- Agile mindset with demonstrated experience working in fully Agile Scrum environments
