About Us

We are a med-tech company leveraging cutting-edge AI to build scalable, regulatory-grade tools for video-based motor assessments. As part of our growing technical team, we’re looking for a highly capable and motivated DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and scalability of our systems that power AI-driven clinical research and digital health innovation.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer (to work with our Platform Lead) on a healthcare SaaS platform handling sensitive clinical data and ePHI.

This is a hands-on startup role covering backend development, production support, deployments, build pipelines, release processes, cloud infrastructure, and security. The right person will be comfortable writing production code and helping operate the systems they build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, maintain, and support backend services using mostly TypeScript, NestJS, and TypeORM.
  • Develop REST APIs and service-based backend components.
  • Work with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, query performance, and data integrity.
  • Support production systems, including monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Maintain and improve GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and backend release processes.
  • Work with Terraform and cloud infrastructure across AWS and/or GCP.
  • Support secure configuration, secrets management, access control, audit logging, and least-privilege practices.
  • Work with authentication and authorization systems, including Keycloak.
  • Write clean, maintainable, tested, and production-ready code.
  • Document backend systems, deployment procedures, and operational processes where needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
