Software Engineer (C#/.NET & React) x2

📍 100% Remote – Anywhere in the UK
💰 £350–£450 per day | Outside IR35
📅 Start Date: 13 July
⏳ 6-month contract | Potential 6-month extension (Full time)

The Opportunity

We’re looking for two experienced Software Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team working on an exciting transformation programme.

You’ll be working on a modern, cloud-native SaaS platform, developing scalable and high-quality software while contributing to engineering best practices, technical design and the wider technical direction of the platform.

This is a fully remote UK contract, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and develop high-quality software using modern engineering practices
  • Build scalable, cloud-native applications within a collaborative Agile environment
  • Contribute to software architecture and technical design decisions
  • Develop and integrate REST APIs and enterprise web applications
  • Champion clean code, engineering excellence and software development best practices
  • Support continuous improvement across development processes, tooling and ways of working
  • Work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business value
  • Contribute to a strong engineering culture focused on quality, collaboration and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET
  • Strong front-end development experience with React.js, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
  • Experience developing REST APIs and enterprise web applications
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID principles and design patterns
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architectures
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and high-availability database design
  • Experience with unit testing, dependency injection and mocking frameworks
  • Experience working within Agile engineering teams
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
