Department Overview
Avigilon Alta Video is the engine room for Motorola’s Video Management System. We are a mentor-heavy environment where Junior engineers work directly on production code alongside specialists in WebRTC and real-time streaming. We value curiosity, a "learn-by-doing" mindset, and a passion for building clean, modern web interfaces using Vue 3 and TypeScript.
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate Frontend Developer (1+ years experience) to join our growing team and help develop our web application built with Vue 3 and TypeScript. If you care about creating great user experiences, writing solid and maintainable code, and continuously improving existing software, you are the person we are looking for!
Our UIs incorporate a wide range of interesting and technically challenging features that you will help to shape and improve:
- Rendering high-resolution video in a performance-critical environment
- Working with large volumes of data in a performant way
- Designing and implementing new UI components
- Investigating and improving performance and scalability as new features are added

What You Will Do
At Avigilon Alta Video, you will make a defining contribution to the development of our disruptive product by:
- Writing high-quality code with creativity and passion
- Conceptualising, designing, and delivering new functionality in close collaboration with product management, designers, and frontend and backend developers
- Improving current engineering processes and tools
- Staying up to date with the latest developments in design and technology, suggesting short- and long-term solutions
Basic Requirements
- 1+ years of professional experience (or a strong production-ready portfolio) in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Familiarity with Vue 3 (Composition API preferred), component communication, and state management (Pinia/Vuex)
- Solid understanding of core web fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3, browser rendering) and working with REST APIs.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding tools (agents, MCPs, automated workflows)
- A collaborative mindset with a strong desire to learn, ask questions, and solve complex problems alongside your team
Bonus Points:
- Experience testing applications using frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
