Software Engineer IV | 6-Month Contract | Remote | UK

We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a world-leading technology company and work on a large-scale live platform used across VR, mobile and cloud streaming.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex production challenges and building AI-driven automation and self-healing systems that reduce manual operational work and improve reliability at scale.

What you’ll be doing

  • Build and maintain automation for release pipelines, build health, crash triage, and incident detection
  • Develop AI-assisted tooling that can identify, diagnose, and automatically repair code issues
  • Build systems that detect broken builds and trace failures back to their root cause
  • Maintain and improve CI/CD and cloud deployment pipelines
  • Monitor production quality, reliability, and performance metrics
  • Support production incident response and crash triage
  • Automate operational processes and significantly reduce manual/on-call workload
  • Manage infrastructure and dependency migrations while maintaining CI/CD stability
  • Work closely with Runtime and infrastructure teams on large-scale production systems

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
