We're working with a leading insurance company that is rapidly advancing the industry into a data-driven, technology-led future. They are an AI tech hub researching and developing cutting-edge AI systems to transform traditional insurance.
The Role
- Contribute to the development, testing, and maintenance of Lab projects, products, and initiatives.
- Deliver robust, maintainable, and operationally viable software and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand technical requirements and delivery priorities.
- Mentor engineers, champion best practices, and conduct code reviews and pair programming.
- Troubleshoot technical, data, and integration issues during development and deployment.
- Drive the development of internal tooling, engineering standards, and deployment practices.

What You'll Need
- Extensive commercial software engineering experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong experience in at least two components of their core stack (Python, Typescript, Relational databases, APIs, Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, AWS).
- Strong core software engineering and DevOps skills, including CI/CD and cloud deployment.
- Knowledgeable in engineering best practices and comfortable producing clean, well-tested code.
- Highly effective in a remote-first, iterative agile environment.
