An innovative organisation in the public sector space is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-impact digital services within the UK public sector.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining robust backend services using modern programming practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for public sector initiatives.
  • Ensuring high code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews.
  • Contributing to the architectural design and technical direction of ongoing projects.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues within a distributed environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Extensive professional experience with backend development and system architecture.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects within the UK public sector.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fully remote team environment.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
