Software Developer (Java/C++) - SC Clearance

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic and innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend software solutions using Java and C++ within Linux environments. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements, define technical approaches, and deliver robust, reliable, and scalable solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven commercial experience developing software using Java and C++, ideally within backend and Linux-based environments.
  • Strong experience with Spring Boot and building scalable backend applications, services, and APIs.
  • Experience with reactive programming, for example using Spring Reactive / WebFlux.
  • Proficient in Python for software development, scripting, or automation.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Experience developing enterprise-scale applications, distributed systems, and microservices.
  • Experience with source code management and version control, particularly Git.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, using tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or AWS CodeCommit.
  • Strong experience with unit testing frameworks and writing robust, well-tested, maintainable code.
  • Experience debugging, troubleshooting, and resolving complex software issues.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • SC Clearance Required.
