C# Software Engineer

A leading Energy Trading Firm in London is seeking a C# Software Engineer to join its Front Office technology team, developing bespoke applications that support traders, analysts, and other commercial teams.

Role Overview

You'll work closely with business stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver robust software solutions, taking ownership of projects from initial requirements and solution design through to implementation and release. The role offers the opportunity to work across a range of technically challenging projects within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment.

The.NET Role

As a Front Office Developer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering modern applications that support front office trading teams. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you'll take ownership of solutions from initial analysis and architecture through to development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

Skills

  • Strong commercial experience developing applications using C#/.NET.
  • Experience building applications using Angular or React, with Angular preferred.
  • Good understanding of SQL Server or Oracle and relational database development.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, testing, and modern development practices.
  • Experience designing robust, supportable software solutions within distributed environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced commercial environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
