Why Socure?

Socure is building the identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy — verifying 100% of good identities in real time and stopping fraud before it starts. The mission is big, the problems are complex, and the impact is felt by businesses, governments, and millions of people every day.

We hire people who want that level of responsibility. People who move fast, think critically, act like owners, and care deeply about solving customer problems with precision. If you want predictability or narrow scope, this won’t be your place. If you want to help build the future of identity with a team that holds a high bar for itself — keep reading.

Socure is looking for a Software Engineer II – Backend to join our global engineering team.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, test, and operate backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Develop reliable, secure, and maintainable production software.
  • Work on distributed systems, asynchronous workflows, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
  • Contribute to technical design and make thoughtful engineering trade-offs.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability and observability.
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with globally distributed, cross-functional teams to solve customer and business problems.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
