Are you passionate about building secure, next-generation technology that protects people and institutions at scale? Join a team of innovators at JPMorganChase where your engineering expertise directly shapes how millions of customers and institutions authenticate and access critical financial services. Here, you'll work on mission-critical identity and access management solutions that sit at the intersection of security, innovation, and customer experience — with the resources and global reach to make a real impact.

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Commercial & Investment Bank Identity Engineering team, you will design, build, and modernize authentication and authorization platforms that serve some of the world's most important corporations, governments, and institutions. You'll collaborate with a global network of technologists to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions across channels and domains. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge authentication technologies while contributing to a firm entrusted with holding trillions in assets across more than 100 countries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop secure authentication and authorization solutions across customer-facing channels and enterprise platforms
  • Modernize identity and access management systems, including authentication and authorization frameworks aligned to open standards
  • Evaluate and prototype internal and vendor solutions for user authentication, including anti-fraud and biometric capabilities
  • Integrate APIs and SDKs for both niche authentication solutions and open standards such as OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and globally distributed engineering teams to deliver high-quality, business-valued outcomes
  • Drive quality and efficiency across the software development lifecycle through strong engineering practices and code standards
  • Contribute to technical direction by setting and modeling high standards for design, development, and testing
  • Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools within the work environment to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity (e.g., code generation/refactoring, unit test creation, documentation), while validating outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards
  • Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve the value realized by automations

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
