Our Vision:
At Neo4j, we have always strived to help the world make sense of data. As business, society, and knowledge become increasingly connected, our technology promotes innovation by helping organizations to find and understand data relationships. We created, drive, and lead the graph database category, and we’re disrupting how organizations leverage their data to innovate and stay competitive.
The Role:
Neo4j’s managed cloud offering, Aura, brings the power of graph databases to the cloud. We’re expanding our Aura Infrastructure team and looking for an ambitious Engineer to join us.
Our team combines experience in pure software development and infrastructure engineering, so we’re interested in speaking to candidates from both an operational and development background.
Working with Cloud Infrastructure
"Provide the core infrastructure that Aura is running on"
Within the Aura Infrastructure team, the focus and responsibility is to design, build, manage, and improve the core Cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure and its components.
On this team, you will have a high influence on defining and refining the underlying cloud infrastructure such as cloud networking, compute, storage, logging, and much more across multiple CSPs. We are managing more than 800 Kubernetes clusters in production today, and this core infrastructure continuously needs to be improved and maintained.
We use a mix of custom Kubernetes operators, open-source tooling, and infrastructure as code daily to maintain the Neo4j Aura infrastructure.
If you are interested in building a robust production system at scale to support Neo4j’s managed graph platform, then this role is for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
