Role Overview

As a Software Engineer Intern, you will help design, build, and maintain the software layer that powers Project Nyx. You will work on user-centric web dashboards, mobile application interfaces, and secure backend pipelines connecting local NVIDIA Jetson edge devices to real-time notification pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dashboard & App Development: Build and refine responsive web dashboards (React, Node.js) and mobile application interfaces for real-time incident monitoring, live feed status, and event playback.
  • Backend & API Pipelines: Develop scalable RESTful/WebSocket APIs to ingest metadata from local NVIDIA Jetson units and push instant, severity-rated security alerts.
  • System Integration: Connect outputs from the Nyx Anomaly Scoring Engine into intuitive event summaries and user-facing alert workflows.
  • Cloud & Edge Infrastructure: Manage local event storage pipelines and optional cloud backup infrastructure built on Microsoft Azure.
  • Software Quality & Architecture: Apply modern engineering practices, automated testing, version control (Git), and security fundamentals to maintain platform reliability.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
