Working with a prominent engineering and manufacturing business, this is an opportunity to join a Systems Engineering team that plays a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions.
The Role
- Support the design, development, optimisation, and deployment of EICA systems across a global product portfolio.
- Develop and optimise industrial PLC/SCADA control systems, including programming, software integration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with testing, commissioning, and fault-finding activities to ensure system reliability.
- Produce electrical designs and schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, adhering to relevant British and European standards.
- Support industrial communication network integration and maintain technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders, contributing to continuous improvement.

What You'll Need
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in electrical and PLC software design, with strong knowledge of industrial automation and control system design principles.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software for electrical design.
- Familiarity with relevant standards such as EN 60204, ISO 12100, and EN746-2 is desirable.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
