An innovative organisation in the investment banking space is looking for a Software Engineer
The successful candidate will design and develop scalable solutions supporting regulatory reporting platforms, ensuring compliance with evolving financial regulations while processing high volumes of transaction data.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications supporting regulatory reporting and compliance functions.
- Partner with Business Analysts and Compliance teams to translate complex regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Build highly scalable data processing pipelines capable of handling millions of daily financial transactions.
- Conduct detailed data analysis, investigations, and root-cause assessments relating to reporting breaches.
- Develop reconciliation and validation frameworks to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity.

What We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience developing applications using Python.
- Proven experience within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services environments.
- Advanced SQL and database development experience, ideally with Oracle Database.
- Strong data analysis and manipulation skills using Pandas.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with experience working directly with business and regulatory reporting teams.
