About the Business

A UK SaaS business building a software platform for trade and construction-sector businesses nationally. The product is core to the company - not an internal tool - and the team is growing to support ongoing development.

About the Role

This is a genuine product engineering role, not a maintenance job. You'll join as a core contributor to the mobile side of the platform, working alongside the wider engineering team to design and build features used daily by customers across the UK. Kotlin is the core requirement, with scope to work across Android and, potentially, iOS as the product roadmap develops.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain features within a live Kotlin-based mobile product
  • Collaborate with product and engineering on roadmap and technical decisions
  • Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code as part of a wider codebase
  • Integrate the app with backend services and APIs
  • Debug, optimise, and improve performance across releases
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
  • Work with product managers to translate customer needs into features
  • Manage app releases and version control as part of a team workflow
  • Stay current with mobile development best practice and tooling

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
