Senior Full Stack Developer
💰 Salary: £55,000–£65,000

10Nex is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer on behalf of a technology business offering autonomy, close collaboration with its founders and the opportunity to make a visible contribution.
You’ll join a small, supportive team where your ideas count. This is a hands-on engineering role with scope to shape technical decisions, work directly with customers and help other developers grow.
🔧 The role
- Work across the software development lifecycle, turning customer requirements into practical, reliable solutions.
- Build and maintain software across the full stack.
- Work directly with customers to gather requirements and explain technical decisions.
- Investigate bugs, identify root causes and solve problems methodically.
- Research unfamiliar technologies and apply new approaches where appropriate.
- Own your work, meet agreed deadlines and communicate challenges early.
- Mentor junior and mid-career developers, sharing knowledge and supporting their development.

🔍 What you’ll bring
- At least five years’ professional software development experience.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience across a range of technologies.
- Excellent debugging skills, with the patience and resourcefulness to investigate unfamiliar problems.
- Confidence working independently, reading documentation and learning new tools.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for mentoring colleagues.
- A continued interest in developing your technical skills, demonstrated through your work, learning or personal projects.
You could be a broad generalist or a specialist who has worked beyond one area. You’ll enjoy staying close to the code and taking responsibility for delivering good work.

The team works with Python,.NET and React.
Experience with the following would also be useful:
- TypeScript and different React frameworks.
- Databases and stored procedures.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.

Manufacturing or industrial sector experience would be a bonus, but is not essential.
