Role overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer to provide technical expertise and day-to-day technical leadership for Oracle Cloud ERP and SAP Concur. The role combines application configuration, integration development and production support to ensure reliable operations and continuous delivery of changes.
The engineer will work independently and collaborate with business analysts and other IT teams, following internal IT service management, risk management and compliance requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance for the configuration, integration and operation of Oracle Cloud ERP and SAP Concur.
- Maintain the technical configuration of Oracle Cloud ERP, including Identity and Access Management (IAM), Business Process Management (BPM) and Universal Content Management (UCM).
- Perform one-off bulk data loads, including validation and resolution of loading errors.
- Configure and support SAP Concur workflows, policies and audit rules.
- Develop, maintain and support integrations with external systems, including HR platforms, payment systems and reporting tools.
- Investigate and resolve production issues affecting application performance, integrations, workflows and scheduled processes, independently or with support from business analysts.
- Support testing and regression activities for application changes and vendor releases, including quarterly Oracle Cloud ERP updates.
- Prepare and support production deployments in accordance with internal change and release management processes.
- Ensure operational excellence through incident and problem management, monitoring, root-cause analysis and preventive improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation, configuration records and support procedures.
- Follow internal policies and IT risk management processes, including requirements for access controls, data handling and audit evidence.

Required experience and skills
- Hands-on experience in enterprise application engineering or technical application support at a mid-level.
- Practical experience configuring and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP, including IAM, BPM and UCM.
- Experience configuring and supporting SAP Concur workflows, policies and audit rules.
- Experience developing and troubleshooting integrations using APIs, web services, file-based interfaces or integration platforms.
- Familiarity with bulk data loading, data validation and error handling.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across application configuration, integrations and scheduled processing.
- Experience supporting application testing, vendor updates and production deployments.
- Working knowledge of IT service management processes, including incident, problem, change and release management.
- Ability to take ownership of technical issues and coordinate resolution with business analysts, IT teams and vendors.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.

Desirable experience
- Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud or comparable integration platforms.
- Familiarity with finance, expense management and payment processes.
- Experience working in an environment with formal IT controls and audit requirements.
